October 6–7, 2026: later citybound airport trains
Expired holiday extension, reviewed October 8, 2026 (China time, UTC+8). Do not use these special last-train times for a new journey on October 8 or later.
The October 6–7 notice extended Daxing Airport Express trains from Daxing Airport toward Caoqiao until 24:00, and Line 19 trains from Caoqiao toward Mudanyuan until 00:30 the following day. Its final listed service night was October 7, with those departures falling at 00:00 and 00:30 on October 8. That announced window has passed.
Check the current date-specific timetable and every onward connection before choosing rail. This review does not confirm a replacement last-train time or an extension beyond the announced window. The airport-bus route changes below have different dates and remain relevant.

Airport buses: September–October 2026 route changes
Reviewed October 11, 2026 (China time, UTC+8). The effective date in the airport-bus operator's September 29 notice, published by the Beijing government on September 30, has now arrived. This is a review of the published notice, not an on-site service check:
- The operator’s notice discontinues the Tiantongyuan (天通苑) and Yizhuang (亦庄) airport-bus routes from October 11, 2026. For travel on or after that date, choose another route and check the complete connection to your destination.
- Since September 30, the Fangshan (房山) route has additional stops and more departures in both directions. The four added intermediate stops are 月华小区, 北潞园, 大学城北 and 广阳城. Check the direction-specific timetable in the notice rather than relying on an older screenshot or schedule.

Pick a route you can complete
Beijing Service’s airport-to-city page links to the available transport choices. For a rail journey, identify the city-side connection and how you will reach the hotel from there. Check the current departure schedule and fare for the actual date and direction.
A rail journey may be comfortable if your hotel is convenient to its connection. With heavy luggage, young children or difficulty using stairs, a taxi can be simpler even when its journey time is less predictable. Consider the final walk and transfers, not only the airport segment.

Arrival sequence
- Complete arrival formalities and collect your baggage.
- Confirm the full hotel address and a usable payment method.
- Check mobile connectivity or ask the airport service counter for help.
- Follow terminal signs for your selected transport.
- Verify the destination or onward connection before paying.
Beijing’s official SIM guide describes passport-based operator services and airport service counters. A data plan and a phone number that receives SMS are separate needs; ask which features the offered plan includes.
Using a car service
For an ordinary taxi, use the signed official rank. App-booked cars use a separate pickup area.
Ride-hailing pickup changed on September 15, 2026. Daxing Airport moved app-booked-car pickups from P1 parking building, level 1M, to the new ride-hailing area northeast of the terminal, formerly P2. After booking, follow signs through Door 14 on the east side of terminal level 2, then use the zone and numbered-bay signs to find your pickup point.

When your flight is delayed
Recheck the last departure for the complete route. A late airport train can still leave you without the city transfer you planned. Ask a staffed airport desk about the currently operating alternative. Keep a cash or physical-card fallback in case app setup is taking too long.
Before a return flight
Check that the booking says PKX and confirm the airline’s terminal and check-in instructions. Do not tell a driver only “Beijing airport.” Show the airport name and flight details.
