How to Save Your Hotel Address in Chinese
A practical guide for foreign visitors on saving a Chinese hotel address for taxis, Didi, Amap, food delivery and hotel check-in.
Find your way around
Choose a specific railway station and allow for steep streets. A short distance on a map can involve stairs, slopes or different road levels.
CKG is Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (重庆江北国际机场). Check your terminal before following rail or taxi directions. Use the current operator journey planner for the airport connection.
Start with the line number, then check the transfer station and final exit. Zoom in to read station names.

Operator network diagram retrieved 2026-09-13. The legend marks Line 15 as not open (未开通); do not plan a journey on it. Check notices for other closures.

The rail system includes elevated and underground lines. Check the exit and level of your destination, not just its straight-line distance.
Use the full name on your ticket. East, West, North and South are different stations.
Use a pickup point on the correct road level. If the driver cannot reach your pin, compare a nearby named entrance and show its Chinese address.
Ask whether the approach has stairs and whether a taxi can reach the entrance, especially if you have large luggage.
