- Look up the complete journey, including the transfer after the airport train.

Avoid a wrong-airport mistake
Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is SHA, not PVG. Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is also a distinct destination. For a same-day connection, allow for baggage, walking, security and check-in, not only train time. A fast airport-to-airport train does not guarantee a tight flight connection is safe.
Late arrival or limited mobility
Check that the entire rail journey remains possible, including the final metro transfer. If lifts, long walks or several changes would be difficult, ask the airport desk about an accessible route or a taxi. Use the official queue rather than following unsolicited transport offers.
