Chengdu 成都

Tianfu and Shuangliu are different airports. For the reviewed route to Chongqing, start by looking for Chengdu East station.

Airport to city

TFU is Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (成都天府国际机场); CTU is Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (成都双流国际机场). Both are shown on the operator network map. Match the airport code, terminal and available airport rail service.

Choose the right train station

Use the full name on your ticket. East, West, North and South are different stations.

Chengdu East 成都东: Search Chengdudong. This is the start of the reviewed route to Shapingba in Chongqing.
Chengdu South 成都南: A different railway terminal. Do not replace East with South when searching or booking.

Taking a taxi

Amap destination search is easier with the attraction or hotel name in Chinese. Confirm the entrance, especially at large attractions.

Getting to your hotel

Save your hotel address and the final walk from the metro, rather than only a city-centre map pin.
